Jaipur at Wetherspoon

Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Pub history
Formerly a pub called Jackson’s Wharf, this large two-storey building takes its name from its location on the marina’s west quay. Located at the foot of the cliffs at Black Rock, east of the city centre, Brighton Marina was officially opened in 1979. The marina has since been developed in stages, acquiring its first public house (The Master Mariner) in 1987. Jackson’s Wharf was granted planning permission in December 1998 and began trading soon after.
