The Isaac Merritt

A collection of Singer sewing machines is on display in this pub.

54–58 Torquay Road, Paignton, Devon, TQ3 3AA

This is named after Isaac Merritt Singer, who made his fortune from mass-producing sewing machines. The home he had built in Paignton was bought by the council in 1946, for use as a civic centre.
