Autumn beer festival
A range of 30 real ales, including five from international brewers, will be available during a 12-day beer festival this autumn.
The festival will run from Wednesday 1 to Sunday 12 October, inclusive.
The overseas brewers are from Australia, India, France and two from the USA.
It is the first time the festival has featured a real ale from India and France.

Christmas at Wetherspoon

The Christmas menu is available from Wednesday 12 November until Wednesday 31 December (excluding Christmas Day).
Festive meals for 2025 include the ever-popular dish of sliced turkey breast and winter vegetables.
Add a little spice to your life
The spice bag, a hugely popular dish in Ireland, will be available from Wednesday 17 September in Wetherspoon’s pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.

New gourmet burgers
Wetherspoon pubs will be serving a new range of gourmet burgers from Wednesday 14 May. The new burgers include The Big Smoke, Cheese meltdown, Buffalo, BBQ stack and The Empire State.
Jaipur at Wetherspoon
Wetherspoon pubs will be stocking Jaipur from 9 April.
Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Customers at more than 650 Wetherspoon pubs across the UK will be able to enjoy breakfast deals for £2.99 each or less.

Pub history
This is named after John Vesey, a leading 16th-century bishop and Sutton Coldfield’s greatest benefactor. The building stands on Boldmere Road, taking its name from a marshy pool or mere. It was built in 1931 opposite the old Gate Inn, housing a builders’ merchants and joinery works for several decades.
