Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Poretti on draught – new world beer
Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
Part of The Waterfront complex, this inn stands facing the Dudley No.1 Canal. The waterway stood next to the New Level Ironworks, recalled by nearby New Level Street. In 1857, the Round Oak Ironworks was established on the site by William, 11th Baron Ward (later Earl of Dudley). At its peak, several thousand people worked here. After its closure, in 1982, The Merry Hill Centre and The Waterfront were built on its 200-acre site.
