Jaipur at Wetherspoon
Wetherspoon pubs will be stocking Jaipur from 9 April.
Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Pub history
The name of this pub recalls the inn at the corner of Heyhouses Lane and North Houses Lane. It was used by fishermen when this was the sparsely populated area known as West End. The old Trawl Boat still stands, but is no longer an inn. The present pub with this name began as two lodging houses, built in c1880. After World War II, one became a doctor’s surgery and the other a solicitor’s practice.
