1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Pub history
This takes its name from its previous use as a bank. The building stands on the site of the centuries-old St Lawrence’s Church which was sold in 1923 and demolished soon after.
