1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
This long-standing local landmark dates from the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign, when Aldershot was rapidly developing into an army town, which it is still is today. This hotel was first licensed in 1857. Horatio Tuddenham was its landlord. He ran the hotel with his wife, Hannah, for its first few formative years.
