Jaipur at Wetherspoon

Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Poretti on draught – new world beer
Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
The earliest map of Uttoxeter, drawn in 1629, records that the home of Peter Lightfoot, a local man of letters, stood on this site. Lightfoot’s house had previously been the Old Swan inn. Alongside was another timber-framed building, owned and occupied by Thomas Salt, which stood, at least partly, on this site.
