Pub history
When Emperor Claudius invaded Britain in 43AD, the Iceni did not surrender easily. Led by Boudica (Boadicea), the tribe rebelled against Roman rule. It has been suggested that the Iceni’s chief camp was on the site of Norwich Castle. We welcome children, but unfortunately we cannot allow children or under 18's in the pub after 6pm, 7 days a week.
