1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Pub history
The Hessle Well was one of the village’s many wells. Hessle Well House’s boundary wall has a plaque stating that the well closed in 1891. Heswall was also served by the Pin Well, Lightfoot Well, Rosebank Well, Bank House Well and Far Well. The Penns, or Prense, Well seems to have been one of the main wells, on Telegraph Road, a stone’s throw from the former Exchange Bar, on what is now the Costa Coffee/Domino’s Pizza forecourt.
