Jaipur at Wetherspoon

Jaipur is a flagship beer from Thornbridge brewery in Derbyshire, first brewed in 2005 and was the beer that put Thornbridge brewery on the map. Tasting notes for Jaipur are below.

1664 Bière on draught – new world beer
All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager. The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.
Breakfast deals
Customers at more than 650 Wetherspoon pubs across the UK will be able to enjoy breakfast deals for £2.99 each or less.
Poretti on draught – new world beer
Poretti (4.8% ABV) is an Italian premium full-flavoured lager, characterised by a pillowy white head, brilliant clarity and a polished golden colour.

Pub history
The former Six Bells Inn closed in 1911 and is now a shop. It was so-named from its proximity to the church and was once the haunt of bellringers. The bell tower was built in 1670, at a cost of £413 19s 4d. The first ring of bells was installed by 1684. The inn may well have been built around this time. The six bells were replaced in 1786. In 1901, two more were added to make the present peal of eight bells.
