The Marshfield Bank Farm House

Historically, Marshfield Bank Farm, including what is now Green Paddock Farm, on the other side of Middlewich Road, took its name from the surrounding area. Its name derives from Marshfield Bank, which, going even further back in history, has long been a named area of fields and farms in the locality.
