Pub history
The Fleur-de-Lis
These premises have a long and varied history. During the 1970s and 80s, 63–66 Broad Street housed Littlewood Stores. For much of the 20th century, Chapman Brothers’ furniture store was here. Also part of these premises, number 67 was occupied by the saddler William Haynes. Next door to Haynes was the long-standing Fleur-de-Lis. The public house is recorded in the local directory for 1847 and served Banbury until the second half of the 20th century.
