Wetherspoon pubs will be serving a new range of gourmet burgers from Wednesday 14 May.

The five new gourmet burgers are in addition to the burger range already on the Wetherspoon menu.

The new burgers are; 

Cheese meltdown, with a choice of beef (6oz beef patty) or fried buttermilk chicken the burger has American-style cheese and is smothered with Emmental & Cheddar cheese sauce.

The Big Smoke comprises pulled BBQ beef brisket, American-style cheese, maple-cured bacon, with a choice of beef (6oz beef patty) or fried buttermilk chicken.

Buffalo combines fried buttermilk chicken, blue cheese sauce, Naga chilli sauce and American-style cheese, all topped with a spicy chicken wing.

BBQ stack is a plant-based patty, stacked with onion rings and covered with BBQ sauce.

The Empire State burger, features two 6oz beef patties, American-style cheese, maple-cured bacon, red onion, gherkin, ketchup, American-style mustard.

Wetherspoon’s range of gourmet burgers, are all served with six beer-battered onion rings and chips (or side salad on request).

All beef burgers served at Wetherspoon are made with 100 per cent British beef, freshly cooked to order and traceable from farm to fork.

The buttermilk chicken in Wetherspoon burgers is made with 100 per cent chicken breast which has been marinated in buttermilk, making the chicken juicy, tender and full of flavour.

All Wetherspoon gourmet burgers include a drink, as part of the meal price, with a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from.

The price of a gourmet burger is £10.19 with a soft drink and £11.72 with an alcoholic drink or less in the majority of pubs.
