All Wetherspoon pubs across the UK and Ireland will be introducing a new premium draught lager.

The beautifully crafted French premium lager, 1664 Bière (4.6% ABV), is being added to the company’s draught beer range.

Brewed with hops from the Alsace region of France, famed for its rich gastronomy and brewing history, 1664 Bière has a rich flavour.

It is refreshing, crisp, golden and perfectly balanced, with floral notes and a delicate bitterness.

With over 360 years’ brewing heritage, 1664 Bière is the product which has personified a supreme taste since 1664.

At the majority (681) of Wetherspoon’s pubs, a pint of 1664 Bière will be priced at £3.99, with the Monday Club deal (excluding pubs in Scotland) coming in at £3.20 a pint.

1664 Bière will also be included as part of Wetherspoon’s ‘includes a drink’ range, available with many main menu meal choices.

This French premium lager joins the range of world beers available on draught at Wetherspoon’s pubs, alongside beers from Belgium, Denmark, Mexico, Scotland, the USA and the recently launched Poretti Italian lager.
