Do you have a nominated company charity?
Our nominated charity since 2002 has been CLIC Sargent, supporting young people and children with cancer and their families. Thanks to the hard work and generosity of our employees and customers, we have already raised over £17.5 million for this charity.
The funds have been raised through a variety of activities, including KICK for CLIC Sargent (a staff five-a-side football tournament), pub quizzes, themed events, variety nights and the annual darts for CLIC Sargent staff tournament.
In 2015, we nominated LauraLynn as our supported charity in the Republic of Ireland. LauraLynn provides palliative and supportive care services to meet the needs of children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Can you support my charity?
We receive a large number of requests for donations and sponsorship for very worthy causes. Although we would like to help, we are unable to support every request received.
Our nominated company charities are CLIC Sargent, in the UK and LauraLynn in the Republic of Ireland.
Some pubs also support a local charity – please contact the pub team directly, if you would like to be considered. Direct collections from customers are not permitted.
Do you support CAMRA?
J D Wetherspoon is Britain’s biggest supporter of microbreweries and supports the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) by being part of the voucher scheme which members receive £30 of discount vouchers to redeem throughout the year.
More information (including terms and conditions) is available on the CAMRA website.
