Spring beer festival
The festival will run from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 15 March, inclusive. The overseas brewers are from Brazil, Italy, Mexico, Spain and the USA, with 28 of the festival beers being new to Wetherspoon. It is also the first time that the festival will feature a real ale from Mexico.

Wetherspoon is set to open its first pub in continental Europe – Castell de Santa Bàrbera. Based in Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport, the new pub is set to open in February 2026.

Pub history
Transforming a sparsely populated stretch of the East Anglian coast, the first holiday camps (HCs) opened here in the 1920s. The Constitutional HC opened in 1928, on what is now Haven Holiday Village, and was later renamed Majorca and then Holimarine, absorbing other HCs. The Ponderosa Dude Ranch, the Speedwell HC and the White Clover Caravan Park all became part of Haven. White clover is a popular plant, with three (sometimes four) leaves (associated with good luck) and white flowers.
