Wetherspoon pubs across the UK will be celebrating St Patrick’s Day (Tuesday 17 March) with a special offer on a range of drinks.

Customers will be able to enjoy a pint of Guinness for £3.49.

The pubs will also be serving a beer brewed exclusively for Wetherspoon.

Brogue Irish Red, brewed by Rye River Brewing Co, will be available for £1.99 a pint.

The beer (4. 4 per cent ABV) is described as malty in character, with notes of biscuit, caramel and dark fruits.

In addition the pubs will be offering Jameson Irish Whiskey (single measure with a mixer included) for £3.49 and a Baby Guinness shot containing 50ml spirit (Kahlua coffee liqueur, topped with Baileys) for £3.99.

Wetherspoon marketing executive James Vaughan said: “ We believe our St Patrick’s Day drinks prices offer great value for money. “We look forward to welcoming customers into the pubs to celebrate on the day.

Rugby fans can enjoy the Six Nations Championship live at Wetherspoon. Wetherspoon’s pubs will be showing all of the fixtures from Europe’s biggest rugby tournament. including Super Saturday on the 14 March ahead of St Patrick’s Day.
