Summer of sport 2025


A summer of sport will be shown live at Wetherspoon pubs to mark the events this year. Wetherspoon’s pubs will be showing matches from Wimbledon 2025, for a fortnight from 30 June until 13 July.
The gentlemen’s doubles final and ladies’ single final (12 July), as well as the ladies’ doubles final and gentlemen’s singles final (13 July) will also be shown live.
Football fans can enjoy the Women’s Euro 2025 tournament, throughout July (2-27 July).
Current champions England will be taking on France (5 July), Netherlands (9 July) and Wales (13 July). Wales will also be up against Netherlands (5 July) and France (9 July), in these Group D matches.
The competition culminates on Sunday 27 July with the final in Basel, Switzerland.
The Tour de France will also be screened during July, with all the cycling action taking place from 5 July until 27 July, in the race for the yellow jersey.
There is also late summer rugby action to look forward to, with the Women’s Rugby World Cup tournament set to start on 22 August, running until 27 September.
