The Queen’s Hotel is a grade II listed building, constructed in 1863, soon after Bridge Street was laid out. We have 29 individual bedrooms, including eight single rooms, four family rooms and a wheelchair-access room with en suite shower facilities. All of our rooms include tea- and coffee-making facilities, bottled still and sparkling water, hairdryer and flat-screen television with Freeview. Every room has access to unlimited free Wi-Fi. We also have irons and ironing boards, travel cots and toothbrush and shaving sets available on request. This hotel adjoins a Lloyds No.1 bar which plays music in the evening. In certain rooms, music may be heard during the evening bar hours.
We are ideally placed in the heart of the city centre, only two minutes’ walk from the main train station.
