Local attractions

The Troll Cart is very close to the seafront and all of its attractions, with easy transport access to a whole host of other activities.

The local stadium hosts everything from greyhound-racing to banger car-racing and much more.

We have two 18-hole golf courses nearby (Caldecott and Caister), with a more family-friendly pitch-and-putt at Bure Park.

Great Yarmouth racecourse is also close by, for those who love a day out at the races.

Local transport

Directly opposite the hotel is the town’s bus station, with links to all local areas and National Express services.

Buses run every 30 minutes to Norwich and Lowestoft.

There is a regular train service to Norwich and Ipswich.

There is also a taxi rank directly outside the pub and hotel.

Parking

A large pay-and-display car park is to be found next to The Troll Cart; however, this is available only during 8am–7pm. There is free on-street parking at certain times of the day and out of season; within a five-minute walk of the hotel are several other pay-and-display car parks. Directions

In the heart of the town centre, The Troll Cart stands opposite the bus station, from where local bus companies and National Express services operate.

The hotel is a short six-minute walk from the seafront, where you can enjoy all of the fantastic local shops along Regent Road on the way.

The Troll Cart is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the train station or a very short taxi ride away.
