There is never a need for an excuse to enjoy the fabulous feel-good fizz of a glass of chilled Prosecco.
However, a birthday, anniversary or just a get-together may be the reason for your cork-popping celebration – and we have two fantastic sparkling drinks, for every occasion.
Our DOC Prosecco from Teresa Rizzi (DOC meaning Controlled Designation of Origin, an international product quality-control) is a sparkling dry white wine from the Veneto region, in Treviso, in northeast Italy. Teresa Rizzi Prosecco (11% ABV), exclusive to Wetherspoon, is light and lively. This pale straw-yellow-coloured wine is bright and clear, with soft, fine bubbles. It is clean, dry and fresh to the taste, with elegant tones of ripe fruits, herbs and acacia flowers.
Our Teresa Rizzi Sparkling Rosé (11.5% ABV) is made from pinot noir and pinot blanc grape varieties, grown on hillside vineyards in northeast Italy. This sparkling rosé is light pink in colour, delightfully fresh and fruity, with a delicate bouquet of strawberry, raspberry, a touch of cream and a gentle, but persistent, mousse. It is made when select grapes are gently crushed and pressed, then quickly separated from the mix to avoid imparting too much colour to the wine.
A popular and affordable alternative to French Champagne, enjoy our fabulous Teresa Rizzi Sparkling Rosé or our wonderful sparkling white wine, Teresa Rizzi Prosecco – whatever the occasion. Both drinks are available as 200ml, to indulge yourself, or a 750ml bottle for a group celebration – chilled and waiting to be served at your local Wetherspoon.
