The Milson Rhodes

Didsbury Station clock tower has a clock on each of its four sides and was erected in memory of Dr John Milson Rhodes. He spent most of his adult life working as a doctor in Didsbury, as well as campaigning for the poor. The inscription on the tower (under his portrait) describes him as ‘a friend to humanity’.
