Wetherspoon’s pubs are reducing the price of a wide selection of drinks and food in its January sale.

The price cuts will be on offer during Tuesday 3 January (in Scotland, Wednesday 3 January) – Tuesday 17 January, inclusive.


The drinks featured in the sale include: draught beers and ciders (Carlsberg, Bud Light, Guinness, Stowford Press Dark Berry Cider, Stowford Press Apple Cider, Ruddles Best and Worthington’s), spirits (Bell’s whisky, Gordon’s gin, Duppy White rum, Au Vodka (four flavours)), a range of soft drinks (Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Max, R White’s lemonade, Pepsi Max cherry) and Lavazza coffee (with free refills, as well as tea and hot chocolate).

 

Te low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks included in the sale are: Beck’s Blue, Adnams Ghost Ship, BrewDog Punk AF, Heineken 0.0, Kopparberg and Erdinger.

At 810 of the company’s pubs across the UK, coffee (free refills) and soft drinks will cost 99p.

At more than 560 of the company’s pubs, in addition to coffee and soft drinks at 99p, Ruddles Best will be available for 99p a pint (in Scotland and Wales, due to licensing laws, the real ale on offer will cost £1.10 a pint).

Bell’s whisky (25ml measure, including mixer) will be 99p, and a bottle of Beck’s or Beck’s Blue (non alcoholic) will cost 99p.

Carlsberg will be on sale at £1.99 a pint and Guinness at £2.89 a pint.

A selection of low-alcohol and alcohol-free beers will cost £1.49.

Customers can also enjoy savings on food too, with offers on three breakfast items (MOMA porridge, breakfast muffin deal (fried egg, sausage bacon, American-style cheese, in an English muffin) and breakfast wrap deal (fried egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, Cheddar cheese, in a wrap)). All of the breakfast deals include coffee, tea or hot chocolate and are served until 11.30am each day.

At 640 of the company’s pubs, MOMA porridge will cost £1.49, breakfast muffins (with hot drink) will be £1.99 and the breakfast wrap (with hot drink) £2.49.

A 3oz burger, served with chips (with soft drink), will cost £4.49.

Founder and chairman Tim Martin said: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.

“The range of drinks and food on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes.

“This year, we have included our biggest selection of low-alcohol and soft drinks.

“I believe that the January sale will prove popular with our customers.

“As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly.”
